In this section of the website we track interesting articles and research about important issues in education, in particular:

• early years education, particularly the benefits of delaying reading and writing until age six or seven
• the detrimental effects of excessive use of television, computer games and other electronic media on children
• issues with excessive or inappropriate testing of children
• excessive government control and centralisation of the curriculum
• over-protecting children and the decline of school trips
