Outdoor Education

The Acorn School offers a diverse experience in outdoor education, and features wakeboarding, kneeboarding, swimming, surfing, archery, hill and mountain walking expeditions, skiing, snowboarding, sailing, Canadian canoeing, and many other sports.

Barnaby Franklin, the school’s physical education teacher walked to the North Pole in 2008, and an ex-student is the British Student Wakeboarding champion. In addition, an ex-student, who will enter university this year, is training for inclusion in the British Olympic Cycling Team for 2016.
